What is the difference between GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018
The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - European Act.
How has this effected you.
We have to ensure that individuals have opted in to receive marketing.
Ensure that personal data is not abandoned on site i.e computers or paperwork.
What is the purpose of Data Protection Act 2018
EU’s says GDPR was designed to “harmonise” data privacy laws across all of its members countries as well as providing greater protection and rights to individuals
How is this managed
Our mailing list software automatically removes individuals who opt out from marketing.
Clients are advised when assets or paperwork may be deemed to contain personal data.
