What is primary data?
Data that you have collected
What is secondary data?
Data that has been collected by someone else.
What is quantitive data?
Anything that you measure in numbers.
What is qualitative data?
Data that uses to describe it.
What is discrete data?
It is a type of quantitive data that is written down in whole numbers. Or can only take individual values.
What is continuous data?
It is a type of qualitative data that measures continuous numbers.
Why do you group data into classes?
If you are collecting lots of data or if it is spread out over a large range.
How do you group data into classes?
define the classes well so none of them overlap. e.g age.
What is the problem with grouping data.
You lose so accuracy and don’t know what the exact data value is.
