A

Sic = as in the original
CRs will include a sic when a speaker misspeaks or misspells something in a transcript.

Where do you find it in the sentence?

A

It’s either (sic) or [sic]
It comes immediately after the error

Except when the error is immediately corrected in the text- then you would not use sic.
