Drab and dull colours, crudely cut, coarse cloth and hand-spun woollen linen.

Long hot baths, baths a many, scented oils, rose petals, expensive perfumes and burnt herbs to purify the air.
Food for the Poor.
Stews, grainy bread, vegetables and fruit (when available), and little to no meat.
Entertainment for the Poor.
Dancing, throwing dice, ball games, wrestling, hide+seek and hopscotch.
Hygiene for the Poor.
Washed in a dish of cold water rarely and clean teeth with a piece of dirty cloth.
Entertainment for the Rich.
Lavish banquets, hunting, falconry, playing chess embroidery, stitch tapestries and listening to musical performances.
Food for the Rich.
Ate meat of both domestic and game animals, fruit, fish, soft cheese, eggs, coloured jellies, vegetables, sauces, soups, ale or mead or wine, banquets and entertained by acrobats and jugglers.
Clothing for the Rich.
Gold and silver garments, satin and velvet, long trailing garments, elaborate sleeves, ornate headgear, tunics and stockings and fancy hats.
