How to prepare a solution

A

Step 1 : dissolve solids in a small volume of the vehicle
( use beaker and glass rod then add solution to conical flask with rinsing)
Step 2 add liquids , volatile first , do not rinse
Step 3 make up to volume and mix using glass rod
Step 4 pour into bottle mix again and label the bottle

A
  1. Grind , sieve and weigh powders
    2 . Make smooth concentrated paste
    ( by geometric mixing , add small volume of liquid , use shearing to make a smooth dispersion )
    3.dilute the paste with liquids

  4. Make up to volume
