Procedure to determine ressitance of metallic conductor

A
  1. Set up a circuit with rheostat
  2. Adjust rheostate to max resistant so a small current flow thur circuit initially for saftey precaution
  3. Record I and V
    4> Adjust rheostat to allow a larger current to flow in the circuit. Record I and V again
  4. Repeat step 4 for at least 6 sets of i and v readings
    6 Plot a graph of V against I
  5. Find gradient
