President Biden met with the Chief Executive of Lookheed and Martin to advocate legislation to boost semiconductor production in America. Semiconductors are vital for technologies such as artificial intelligence, hypersonic weapons and next generation networking. As of now most of the production is in Asia. This legislation would help assure the military has access to such technology.

Started off as the 761st tank destroyer battalion and were known as the black panthers. The 761st was not desegregated until after WWII. They were flagged in 1942. Most famous member of the 761st was 1st LT Jackie Robinson. 1944 unit landed on Omaha Beach and was assigned to General Paton third army attached to the 26th Infantry Division. Unit fought in the battle of the bulge. SSG Ruben Rivers got the Medal of Honor posthumously in 1997. Disbanded in 1945. 361 flagged in 2004.
