Technology in culture refers to how people adapt to the technology in a material sense.
An example is comparing the introduction of black and white TVs, colour TVs to the whole world

It refers to attitudes towards beauty and good taste in the art, music and drama of a culture.
An example in marketing could be package design, colour, brand name and symbols
