Weed control
a method used as pest control, which
attempts to stop or prevent weeds from competing with
desired plants or crops.
Mulching
covering the top soil with plant
material such as leaves, grass or crop residue in order add
organic matter to the soil or conserve moisture for utilization
by the plant.
Moulding
scraping, gathering or heaping around the root of the plant to
prevent soil erosion
Fertilizing
adding artificial nutrients to the
soil or land in order boost crop growth or
production
Staking
providing the plant
with the ability to grow without bending to the
point where it breaks the plant and stops
growth.
Thinning out
the removal of some plants, or parts of
plants, to make room for the growth of others.
Pruning
is the cutting away of dead or
overgrown branches or stems, in order to
encourage growth.
Irrigation
the application of water in small
proportions at intervals that the plant requires.
Trellising
It keeps crops off the ground and
increase usable space as well as yield.

This is a method used in agriculture to enhance
crop production and prevent weeds, pest or
disease problems without the use of chemical
substances.
