most of the cultural beliefs are hidden, so it is hard to detect them

highest is in the US, collectivism is highest in China

least torelable (high uncertainty avoidance): Eastern Europe most tolerable: China

which parts of culture are observable? which can’t be seen?
behaviours are observable, while beliefs and core values cannot be seen
what is the difference between internal and external culture (perspective of an individual)?
internal is unconsious and difficult to change. It’s learned implicitly and the knowledge is subjective.
(external is the opposite)
