Cultural capital Flashcards
What is cultural capital
Pierre bourdieu - saw middle class culture as a type of wealth, which gives them an advantage
Three types of capital
Social capital (who you know - social network )
Educational capital ( the education system respects their values)
Economic capital ( extra resources to use on education, but CC is largely achieved using economic capital )
