What did they reject?
Notion that art should reflect nature. Rejected traditional perceptive and modelling.

Light was illogical it often didn’t make sense shadows were only give to certain sections of work.

How did 2nd phase cubism differ?
Introduces synthesis of different materials and letters. Work becomes piece of art in itself.

Into geometric shapes then relined in shallow pictorial space.
