Open top car newspaper of Franz route Black hand knew exactly where he would be and when. Six assassins were in position along the route he was going to take. They were armed with bombs, pistols, ammunition, suicide pills

Car passed two members: one couldn't get gun out in time and the other felt sorry for Sophie as she was pregnant Cabrinovic threw bomb at car and bounced off to the car behind He swallowed a suicide pill but was out of date He jumped into the river but only 10cm deep. Got arrested

What happened in the fourth stage of The murder in Sarajevo | SANDWICH
Ferdinand visited hospital after meetings Driver took a wrong turn and were forced to stop and reverse as Gavrilo Princip was standing eating a sandwich. He pulled out a gun and fired twice at the car. One hit Ferdinand in the neck the other hit Sophie in the stomach. Sophie died first and the next day he died on june 28 1914

What happened in the fifth stage of The murder in Sarajevo | MURDERER GETS JUSTICE
Gavrilo Princip's suicide pill didn't work and the police arrested him. He was tried, found guilty and sent to 20 years in prison. He couldn't be hanged because he was under the age of 20. He died in prison from tuberculosis in 1918
