ROUTER
it is a wireless network device that acts as a portal
for devices to connect to a local area network.
ACCESS POINT
It is a hardware component
that allows a computer or another device, such as a router or switch,
to connect to the Internet.
MODEM (MODULATOR-DEMODULATOR)
A type of modem that connects to your ISP, which typically provides either cable or DSL
Internet service.
CABLE MODEM
A type of modem use to access the Internet by using the facilities of the public switched
telephone network (PSTN) to establish a connection to an Internet service provider (ISP) by
dialing a telephone number on a conventional telephone line.
