How is a law made?
- a bill is introduced in the Dáil,to the TDs for debate
- After debate, amendments can be made
- Bill ↪️ the Special Committee for close examination
- Report stage (final draft of the bill)
- Amended bill goes back to Dáil.if passed, ↪️the Seanad for more debate.To become a law, Dáil + Seanad must pass it
- President signs it
- Bill becomes an Act
