A
  • Can’t be too > large too destructive
  • Can’t be too far subgingival >access is poor & cingulum damaged
  • Can’t be too far incisal >poor appearance observed

A

A
  • Remove roof of pulp chamber
  • Straight line access
  • Avoid cingulum & incisal edge
  • Obtain good access for cavity > irrigants placed in

the Steps for accessing cavity ?

A
  • cut a small triangular shape into canal using a pear-shaped number 7
  • then slow speed directly into pulp chamber & sudden drop into chamber
  • use slow speed to gently pull back on pulp roof chamber, improving access
  • Endo Z bur held straight to pulp chamber to achieve final outline
