Huber and fellow co-founder Mike Conder were long-time employees of CAO International, having spent 15 years growing the brand at its Nashville headquarters.
Tim Ozgener has purchased Conder’s shares in Crowned Heads and will replace him as ceo. Ozgener was an early investor in Crowned Heads and his OZ Family Cigars is distributed by Crowned Heads. Conder, Huber and Ozgener all worked at CAO, which was owned by the Ozgener family until 2007.

Co-founder Jon Hober felt that “Blood Medicine” better reflected the company’s Nashville roots and mystique associated with old-time Snake Oil remedies.
