what is the treatment for croup?
A
mild- single dexamethasone dose oral
moderate- severe: hospital, single dose dexamethasone or prednisolone given orally whilst waiting admission, if cant take oral IM dexamethasone or nebulised budesonide
-severe not controlled by steroids: nebulised adrenaline/ epinephrine

A
common childhood infection that causes a barking cough and a rasping sound when breathing. It’s usually mild but may need treatment.
