- Profiling is a speical investigative techique that forensic psychologists use when working with police to solve a crime.
- when analysing a crime scene, the forensic psychologists play an important role in determining the identity of a person who has committed a crime by using a variety of information

- It is helpful to narrow down suspects when profiling doesn’t directly give the offender’s name
