- Misinformation: refers to situations where incorrect or misleading information info is introduced after an eyewitness has provided their account of an event A person might mistakenly recall a suspect’s appearance due to a misleading question r exposure to media reports
- Weapon focus: refers to the concentration of a crime witness attention on a weapon, and the resultant reduction in ability to remember other details of crime
