Common Law Larceny (Old)
(1) Trespassory taking and carrying away (2) of the personal property of another (3) with the intent to permanently deprive.
Common Law Theft (Modern)
(1) Take possession or control; (2) of the property of another (3) or in possession of another (4) with the intent to deprive the other thereof
Theft by False Pretenses
(1) False pretense or representation to the property owner (2) intent to defraud owner of that property (3) the owner transferred title of the property in reliance on the misrepresentation
Larceny by Trick
(1) Taking by fraud as a form of trespass (2) and carrying away (3) the property of another (4) with intent to permanently deprive the owner of possession
Robbery
(1) Larceny, by (2) Force (wrestling, etc.)
Burglary
(1) Intentional and (2) wrongful entry onto the premises (3) of another (4) with intent to commit a felony therein
Breaking & Entering
the wrongful entry and damage to, or interference with, the property of another
Claim of Right (Defense)
One cannot commit a crime against property that they belive is their own in good faith, unless the crime is a violent one
Embezzlement
(1) While in possession of the property of another (2) converting that property to a personal use (3) by fraud
