P.E.E of a violent crime
P- there are many types of crime, one crime is violent crime.
E- murder is the most extreme form of violent crimes. All forms of assault are classes as violent crimes.
E- Peter Tobin is a serial killer that has killed three woman.
P.E.E of hate crime
P- Another type of crime is hate crime.
E- hate crime is a crime motivated by malice towards a particular social group of the basis or their actual or presumed sexual orientation, transgender identity or race.
E- police Scotland have launched a hate crime campaign to try stop this happening.
P.E.E of cyber crime
P- Cyber crime is another type of crime
E- Criminal activities carried by means of computers or the Internet. Crimes include ; hacking, viruses, stalking, bullying and pedophilia.
E- An example of this crime is the Talk Talk hacking in October 2015
P.E.E of sexual crime.
P- sexual crime is also a type of crime.
E- These are offences that break the law regarding sexual activities. This includes; rape, prostitution, indecency and incest
E- An example of this is that there has been a 41% increase in sexual crimes due to the Jimmy Saville Case.
What are causes of crime? (Know at least 4)

P.E.E of drugs and alcohol
P- A reason why people may commit crimes is that they may be under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
E- The addiction of drugs and alcohol can lead to crime
E- An example is that some people will commit crimes to fund their addictions such as prostitution.
P.E.E of gender (cause of crime)
P- Another reason why people commit crime is because of their gender.
E-boys are more often to be involved in crime than girls.
E- this is because boys become involved in the “street corner culture” whereas girls become involved in the “bedroom culture”
P.E.E of peer pressure.
P-Peer pressure is also a cause of crime.
E-Peer pressure tends to be more of a factor for young people particularly young males.
E-Peer pressure is where individuals are influenced/persuaded to commit a crime by their friends and feel under pressure to say yes
P.E.E of social exclusion
P- social exclusion is another cause of crime
E- The group of people who are socially excluded are from very poor backgrounds, don’t you see if a decent standard of education and end up being unemployed.
E- for example people they get involved and petty crime such as shoplifting, car theft and fraud.

Same happens to people more often (or less often) depending on several factors such as age gender, ethnicity and social class.

P- came can have an impact on society are many different ways. One way crime can impact is on the victim
E- being a victim of time even a real totally may know one can be a very traumatic experience for someone. Victims go through a range of emotions such as feeling scared and angry. This can lead to sleepless night’s, nightmares and even post-traumatic disorder.
E- what example the charity Victim support helps victims of crime and supports them after a traumatic event. It provides victims with free and confidential, emotional and practical assistance and information about the criminal justice system.

P- another way crime can have an impact on society is on the offender.
E- having a criminal record has a massive impact on the offender for the rest of their life. The young people involved in the London guys did not realise the quads and the consequences of their actions. One young rioter went to jail for six months for stealing a bottle of water.
E- what is Sample exam in a decade has to be declared when applying for jobs such as teaching working with young people and disabled people. Oh so hen do is peoples travelling to other countries such as the USA.
Impact on crime on society for the environment.
P- Crime can impact on society through the environment that you live in.
E- high levels of crime may damage community spirit and less neighbourliness. Once an area has high levels of crime it is labelled a bad area. Environmental poverty such as vandalism and derelict houses.
E- people who live in urban areas are more likely to suffer from claim and be that some some people living in rural areas.
