A

A deal between England and Scotland. In 1701 the Act of Settlement was passed, it guaranteed that the next king will be a Protestant. But the Scots will be able to choose their access to the English trade. 2 systems of national laws. Scots were allowed to have their own system of laws if it did not affect GB.
