Loss of constriction = third nerve palsy
What’s the sympathetic pupillary response
Pupillary dilation
Constricted pupil - sympathetic damage
What is trigeminal neuralgia
Paroxysmal attacks of laminating pain
Middle and older ages
Cased by vascular loop
Treated medically with carbamazepine
Surgical options if medication is resistant
What is pseudobulbar palsy?
Bilateral UMN lesions
Dysarthria, dysphonia, dysphagia
Spacit, immobile younger
Brisk jaw jerk
Brisk gag reflex
Bulbar palsy
Bilateral LMN lesions affecting IX-XII
Waisted fasciculating tongue
Dysarthria
Dysphonia
Dysphagia
Beware of feeing these patients
Pupillary light reaction reflex num
