What is cracking?
A
Cracking is a reaction in which larger saturated hydrocarbon molecules are broken down into smaller, more useful hydrocarbon molecules, some of which are unsaturated.

What is Phyto mining?
A
Plants absorb metals through their roots and are then cut down, collected and burned. This produces metal oxides in the ash which is then displaced to produce pure metals. It is a carbon neutral method of mining and can be used on old quarries due to its contaminated soil, however it is very slow.
