What is natural capital?
all the ecosystem services that natural assets provide; include soil, air, water and all living things.
What is an asset service matrix?
demonstrates the links between natural assets, including habitats and species, and the ecosystem services that they provide.
What is emotional intelligence?
the ability to manage your own emotions and understand the emotions of people around you.
How do CPO rights work with electricity or gas companies?
- Used as a fall back position if access cant be agreed by negotiation.
- Legal mechanism which acquiring authorities can acquire land without the consent of the owner.
Explain your understanding of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act 1975 Section 10?
EA allowed to construct + maintain a dam or in connection with dam, a fish pass so long as we do not damage the milling power/supply of water to a navigable watercourse.

Explain your understanding of the Water Resources Act S172?
- WRA 1991 = 1 of the most important pieces of flood defence legislation + sets out the EAs jurisdiction over main rivers, works powers, powers of entry onto land, consenting and enforcement powers.
