Parliament
There are 9 parliaments in Australia
Each parliament is able to make or change laws within their own jurisdictions
They are bicameral (two houses and a crown)
Houses of the Commonwealth Parliament
Upper House - Senate
To represent the interests of the states and territories of Australia and also review, pass bills by the house of representatives
Lower House - House of Representatives
To represent the people of Australia and introduces, proposes and reviews bills and also form the Australian Government
