Define Insurgency
an organized movement aimed at the overthrow of a constituted government through the use of subversion and armed conflict. (JP 1-02)
Define Insurgent
member of an insurgency. So what’s an insurgency? Doctrinally, an organized resistance movement that uses subversion, sabotage, and armed conflict to achieve its aims. Insurgencies are typically a part of (and subordinate to) a larger resistance movement that includes other, non-violent aspects, such as political actions and international coordination
Define Guerrilla
The overt military aspect of the insurgency

One who uses violence or the threat of violence to create fear; the intent is to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological.
