Raised ICP (Risk of bleed)
Haemodynamic instability
Recent oesophegeal surgery
Recent facial, oral or skull surgery
Air swallowing
Haemoptysis (pressure could affect bleeding more e.g. tumour)
Bullae or surgical emphysema (Could cause pneumothorax)
Active untreated TB
Nausea
