(Corroboration)
It is not necessary for the evidence on which the prosecution relies to be corroborated, except with respect to the offences of -
(a) perjury
(b) false oaths
(c) false statements or declarations
(d) treason
Not necessary for the Judge to warn or give direction to the Jury regarding uncorroborated evidence
Corroboration
Independent evidence that tends to confirm or support some fact of which other evidence is given and implicates the defendant in the crime charged

Judicial directions about children’s evidence
A judge must not give a jury any warning regarding the absence of corroboration of evidence, in criminal proceedings involving child complainants, if the Judge would not have given that kind of a warning had the complainant been an adult
