Power culture
This is associated with autocratic leadership. Power is concentrated at the center of the organization, Swift decisions can be made as so few people are involved in making them
Role culture
Associated with bureaucratic organizations, people operate within the rules and they show little creative, the structure of the organization is well defined, and each individual has clear delegated authority. Power and influence come from a persons position in the company
Task Culture
Groups are formed to solve particular problems and there will be lines of communication similar to a matrix structure. Such teams develop a distinctive culture because they are empowered to take decision and be creative
Persons culture
There may be some conflict between individual goals and those of the whole organization, but it’s the most creative type of culture
Entrepreneurial culture
Success is rewarded in an organization with this culture. Failure isn’t necessarily criticized as it’s considered a inevitable consequence of risk taking
Laissez- Fair
“Allow to do” employees are trusted to take decision and enjoy less control and supervision from managers
Autocratic leadership
Characterized by managers having individual control over all decision and a little input from group members
Paternalistic leadership
Involves a dominant authority figure who treats team members as part of a family
Democratic leadership
Style in which members of the group participate in the decision making process
