On some aircraft, the ABCU will automatically limit the brake pressure to 1000 PSI, whereas this must be done by the crew on other aircraft.
EMER DESCENT
CREW OXY MASKS . . . . USE
SIGNS . . . . ON
EMER DESCENT . . . . INITIATE
- If A/THR not active:
THR LEVERS . . . . IDLE
SPD BRK . . . . FULL
- TCAS still takes precedent over the emergency descent.
- If A/C remains at FL180, make PA: ‘Passengers and Crew - keep masks on!’ and give guidance to approximate duration of Oxygen requirement.
- Once level at FL140 or below, notify the cabin crew: ‘The descent is now complete - will the SCCM report to the flight deck’.
- Flight crew must keep oxygen until cabin alt is below 10,000 ft.
STALL RECOVERY
NOSE DOWN PITCH CONTROL . . . . APPLY
BANK . . . . WINGS LEVEL
- When out of the stall (no longer stall indications)
THRUST . . . . INCREASE SMOOTHLY AS NEEDED
SPEEDBRAKES . . . . CHECK RETRACTED

- If in clean configuration below 20 000 ft:

STALL WARNING AT LIFTOFF
THRUST . . . . TOGA
- At the same time:
PITCH ATTITUDE . . . . 15
BANK . . . . WINGS LEVEL
UNRELIABLE SPEED INDICATION
- If the safe conduct of the flight is impacted:
AP . . . . OFF
A/THR . . . . OFF
FD . . . . OFF
PITCH/ THRUST:
Below THRUST RED ALT . . . . 15/TOGA
Above THRUST RED ALT and Below FL 100 . . . . 10/CLB

FLAPS (if CONF 0,1,2,3) . . . . MAINTAIN CURRENT CONF

- “SINK RATE” - “TOO LOW GEAR” - “TOO LOW FLAPS”:
GO-AROUND . . . . PERFORM - “GLIDESLOPE”:
GO-AROUND . . . . CONSIDER - “DON’T SINK”:
FLIGHT PATH . . . . ADJUST
TCAS CAUTION
If the AP/FD TCAS mode is available:
TCAS mode . . . . CHECK ARMED
If the A/THR is off:

(Full backstick is available. If the FD bars are not displayed target an initial pitch of 17.5 and adjust).
