Describe the branching pattern of the arteries of the posterior thigh?
Common iliac splits into internal and external iliacs. External iliac keeps traveling and becomes femoral A. (which gives off profunda femoris A.) then becomes popliteal A. (which gives off genicular branches) then posterior tibial A. (which gives off plantar AA. and anterior tibial artery --which then gives off dorsalis pedis) and ends as fibular A.

(giving off genicular branch AA.)--> splits into anterior and posterior tibial AA. Anterior tib A. becomes dorsalis pedis, posterior tibial A. splits into fibular A. and plantar AA.
