A

Agreed that germany shouldn’t be punished too harshly/crippled
-didn’t want to loose a valuable trade partner
-worried that a harsh treaty would lead to a communist revolution
Wanted germany to loose it’s navy’s and colonies (less threat to the British empire)
(Does not agree with self actualisation)
