A food that is partially prepared and needs minimal preparation skills to use it.
Advantages
They take little time to prepare - useful for busy people
Frozen vegetables are freshly harvested and therefore contain high amounts of vitamin c
Disadvantages
The cost of convenience foods can be higher in comparison to homemade versions.
Cookery skills are not well developed in those who use a lot of convenience foods
They can contain a lot of additives and some people may be negatively effected by them.
