How can the hormone oestrogen help to reduce fertility?

A

Oestrogen can be used to prevent the release of an egg.
If its taken everyday to keep the level of it high it inhibits the production of FSH, so after a while egg development and production stops and stays stopped.

The pill is a contraceptive that contaims Oestrogen

A

When FSH is too low it cant cause the egg to mature, which means no eggs are released resulting in no pregnancy.

FSH is taken to stimulate the egg production im the ovaries
