What is a controlled drug delivery
drugs are detected concealed in other goods making it possible for delivery to be made under surveillance of customs and police to identify secure evidence against those involved in the import/export

Methods of importation
Imported sea freight- by sea
Imported air freight- commercial or private
International airport- body packing, internal concealment or concealed in luggage
International mail centre- inside mail
What is option 1 of clean controlled delivery
No drugs are left within the consignment
Eliminates drugs being lost, freedom organising surveillance to reduce risk of alarming targets
What is option 2 for controlled delivery
Leaving an amount of the drug within the consignment to enable charging an offender with a “possession for supply” provides use of emergency powers should drugs move to persons or places not on warrants, greater security and recovery is paramount
Suspect at large is in a motor vehicle involved with the controlled delivery but the parcel is no longer in the car what is your emergency power
Sec 9 S&S Act 2012 to stop the vehicle to arrest that person
A controlled delivery is taking place where the parcel is in the vehicle. what are your emergency powers to stop the vehicle
Use sec 121 of S&S acts 2012 to stop the vehicle and use sec 81 to search the vehicle
