Outer containment- influence from social groups, society and our laws

Bond theory

hypothesises that people must form social bonds to prevent criminal behaviour
positive attachments to parents school and peers, commitments to accomplishing future goal, involvement in social activity and ensuring conformity all create pro-social behaviour ad prevent criminal behaviour
