A

not readily retrievable without the use of specialist equipment

A

crush tablets before adding it to a denaturing kit
can add water
if not kit can place in warm soapy water- ensure drug is dissolved or dispersed

A

add it to an appropriate product (cat litter) and add to pharmaceutical waste bin

A

opened as must as possible
amoless should be disposed of and the sharps put in the sharps bin but labeled - mixed pharmaceutical wastes and sharps- for incinuration

how are Fentanyl / Buprenorphine patches destroyed?

A

Just remove backing on the patch and fold the patch over on itself (sticky side inwards) and place in the CD denaturing kit
