what are the requirements for private CDs?
must be on a standardised form
must contain the prescribers number
must be submitted to NHS bsa at end of month
what technical errors can you still supply a prescription with?
minor typographical error or spelling mistake
what happens when collecting S2 and S3 drugs?
must show photo ID- patient or on behalf
if healthcare prof- ask for name and address of patient and ID

how is the CD register divided?
there must be sections for each class and different parts for different strengths and forms
how long must the CD register be kept for?
kept for 2 years from the last date of entry
