Deep Structure
Think of deep structure as the essence or core meaning of a sentence. It’s like the blueprint of a sentence, showing the basic relationships between words and their meanings. Deep structure captures the main ideas and relationships before any adjustments are made for grammar rules or word order.
Surface Structure
Surface structure is what you actually see or hear when someone speaks or writes a sentence. It’s the final form of the sentence, with all the words arranged according to grammar rules and word order. Surface structure includes all the details like word order, tense, and grammatical endings
Universal grammar
Chomsky book, Imagine Universal Grammar as the set of basic rules for all languages that humans are born with, kind of like the operating system that helps us learn any language.
Here’s a simpler breakdown:
Innate Language Skills: We're born with the ability to learn language. It's like having a built-in language learning tool in our brains. Shared Language Blueprint: All languages share some basic rules. These rules are like the foundation for how we understand and use language, no matter which language we're learning. Language Learning Tool: Inside our brains, there's a special part (we'll call it the language learning tool) that helps us pick up the language spoken around us. It follows the basic rules of Universal Grammar to figure out how to speak and understand language.
So, Universal Grammar is like our language superpower that helps us learn any language, whether it’s English, Spanish, Chinese, or any other language spoken in the world

دو یادگیری پشت سر هم *
اگه اطلاعات یادگیری اول به دوم منتقل بشه و بهم شبیه باشن پازیتیو ترانسفر
اگه یادگیری اول متفاوت باشه مانع ایجاد میکنه
نگاتیو ترانسفر
Principle of transfer*
When 2 learning take place, one after other one, second learning has to pass through the filter of first learning.
