Expectation – put in the place where the party would have been if the D. did not breach.
Incidental damages – expenses incurred because of the breach, direct damages in an attempt to remedy the situation.
Consequential – costs and losses not in the ordinary course of events but related the nonbreaching party specifics (i) must be certain, not speculative. E.g. not being able to open the store, so not selling. – (ii) The breaching party had reason to know about your specifics- foreseeable.
