Open Listing
listing given to one or more brokers wherein the broker procuring the sale is entitled to the commission but imposes no commission obligation on the owner in the event the owner sells the property to a person who was not interested in the property by one of the listing brokers.
Exclusive Agency
listing given to one broker only who is entitled to the commission if the sale is effected by the broker or agent of the listing broker but imposes no commission obligation to the owner in the event the owner sells the property to a person who was not interested in the property by the listing broker/agent
Exclusive Right to Sell
listing given to one broker only who is entitled to the commission if the property is sold by anyone during the time of the listing contract
Bond for Deed
aka contract for deed or land contract; contract of sale and method of financing by the seller for the buyer
option to purchase
a contract whereas the owner sells the right to purchase his property to a prospective buyer
