Building Contracts
A
- The building contract and contract data need to be fully signed by both parties and witnessed.
Eg: JBCC Principle Building Agreement or the Everyman’s Building Contract (EBC)

Drawings and Specifications
A
- Drawings refer to what work has to be done, and where it must go.
- Specifications relate to how the work must be done, and the quality of the work and materials.
- Schedule of drawings and specifications need to be initialled/signed by both parties

The BOQ
A
- The bills of quantities reveal how much work must be done
- After pricing the bills also show
how much the work will cost

Prelims and Preambles
A
- Model documents that are referred to, but not bound into, the bills of quantities, although certain preliminary items may be included within the bill for pricing
- If included, these documents also need to be initialled by both parties
