Building Contracts

  • The building contract and contract data need to be fully signed by both parties and witnessed.
    Eg: JBCC Principle Building Agreement or the Everyman’s Building Contract (EBC)

  • Drawings refer to what work has to be done, and where it must go.
  • Specifications relate to how the work must be done, and the quality of the work and materials.
  • Schedule of drawings and specifications need to be initialled/signed by both parties
