What are 2 ways poverty is measured?
A
- Absolute Poverty: The deprivation of resources considered essential for physical and medical survival
- Relative Poverty: A comparison of someone’s individual standard of living compared to the national average (measured by Low-Income Cut-Off (LICO) line)
