The black death in Asia contributed majorly to the fall of the Mongol empire. The black plague was also overall killing many people leaving many in fear. The population loss and terror is very significant all in itself.

This is a system where countries trade with other countries in hopes of producing wealth for their own countries. Also, gold and other precious medals were traded during this time because those were the items that would increase wealth. People at that time didn’t care about trading for food, they just wanted the metal/gold.
