    AILERON - Into wind as required, slight right to compensate for torque at MAX power
    REFERENCE - Select Horizon reference point
    TOES OFF BRAKES
  5. ROTATE - 85 KIAS + 1/2 Gust factor
  6. CHECK - Two positive rates of climb; Airspeed below 150K KIAS - Raise gear; Airspeed above 110 KIAS - Raise Flaps.
    REPORT - Gear up, Flaps up at _ knots.
  7. ATTITUDE - Set to climb, trim

Straight-and-level Flight Procedures

A
  1. BALANCE - Maintain balanced flight, trim.
  2. PITCH - Bisect windscreen with horizon, CROSSCHECK - Altimeter, VSI. TRIM.
  3. ROLL - Wingtips equidistant to horizon. CROSSCHECK - Heading. TRIM.
  4. SCAN
  5. CORRECT ALTITUDE - Stop error by adjusting nose attitude. Coordinated power and stick pressure to return to desired altitude. TRIM.
  6. CORRECT HEADING - Level wings, turn back heading, bank no greater than degrees off heading. Trim.
