What is Marbury VS Madison
In Marbury v. Madison, decided in 1803, the Supreme Court, for the first time, struck down an act of Congress as unconstitutional.
What is McCulloch VS Maryland?
The court decided that the Federal Government had the right and power to set up a Federal bank and that states did not have the power to tax the Federal Government. (they basically wanted to tax the second bank of USA)
What is Plessy VS Ferguson?
Supreme Court decision ruling that racial segregation laws did not violate the U.S. Constitution as long as the facilities for people of color were equal in quality to those of white people. a doctrine that came to be known as “separate but equal”.

They make the laws. It consists of the Senate and House of Representatives.

Provides leadership and regulatory functions related to food, agriculture, natural resources, and rural development.
