Necessary and Proper Clause
Grants the federal government the authority to pass laws required to carry out its enumerated powers.
Commerce Clause
Gives Congress broad power to regulate interstate commerce.
Equal Protection Clause
Government may not deny equal protection of its laws. All amendments apply to all Americans.
Supremacy Clause
Gives Federal laws more precedent than state laws. Makes the Federal Government supreme law of the land.
Full Faith and Credit Clause
State Courts must honor out of state laws, judgement, and regulations.
General Welfare Clause
Congress has the power and ability to levy taxes and enact laws to pay debts, national defense, and for the general welfare of the people
