Local government act which stimulated trade and produce.
Negatives : What unrest were they plagued with?
Industry, unemployment, econimical.
What effect was had on the coal mine industry?
It was declining.
What effect was had on the miners?
The Conservative’s attitude towards miners alienated them.
Why was this?
Due to the General Strike (possibly).
What was happening with the import and export?
There was an unhealthy balance of payment. The import was not equal to export.
