- Decisions should be made on experience and practical knowledge basically what we know works Vs what could work (theories) BECAUSE people can’t be trusted and it’s dangerous (trads)

Localism:
- rather than having one central authority you have local ones as they know an area’s needs better
(preserves each local area’s identity) (One Nation)

Paternalism:
Where those at the top have a responsibility to care for those beneath them (One nation and trads
